How to improve seeing Wilmont's Facebook Posts in your Facebook news feed.
Edited 4/22/2020
Facebook does not offer posts on your news feed in chronological order. Rather, they prioritize what they believe to be of particular interest to you. Unfortunately, this means that some things that are actually important may rarely display as you scroll through Facebook. But there is something you can do to make sure Facebook knows to prioritize your church's content. Follow the instructions below to tell Facebook to show you new Wilmont content near the top of your news feed. Computer and smartphone instructions are below.
From Your Computer
(Facebook changes their visual layout often. These directions are effective as of the article date posted above.)
1. Log into Facebook
|
2. Type "facebook.com/wilmontplace" (without quotes) in the URL of your browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.)
|
3. Make sure you have Liked the Wilmont page (see #1 below). Then click on the three dots to the right (see #2 below).
|
4. Click "Follow Settings"
|
Now, red notifications will show up on the notification bell at the top of your Facebook page every time Wilmont releases new content (see #5 below).

From Your Phone (examples from iOS)
(Another mobile OS will be similar. Facebook changes their visual layout often. These directions are effective as of the article date posted above.)
