Oklahoma Baptists have a long history of stepping into areas of brokenness and meeting needs, all to advance the Gospel. In fact, that is the very heart of this offering. The Missions Offering is a very tangible expression of the common bond we have in Christ and the common mission we have to advance the Gospel in our state.

TOUCH LIVES :: BE A PART

You can be a part of impacting Oklahoma with the gospel through this year's Oklahoma Baptist state missions offering. Here's how:
Take 10 minutes each day during September to pray for brokenness in Oklahoma. Here are some things you can consider in your prayer time:
  • Those hurt by social, economic, or racial injustice
  • People you know who have not accepted the gospel
  • That God will make your heart and the heart of your church more sensitive to human and eternal needs.
  • The body of Christ to get serious about living faith in the open.
Designating your offering is unnecessary. Your church has a plan. We already give 5.5% of every dollar to world needs, including North American and International missions, through our Cooperative Program giving. During September, we will designate an additional 10% to Oklahoma state missions. After we meet our monthly operating need of $40,000 in September, we will designate a whopping 50% of everything else to Oklahoma state Missions!

You can plan to give by being faithful in your tithes and offerings to Wilmont throughout the month. As you pray and are led to give above your normal offering, know that 10-50 percent will be redirected to the need for the gospel in Oklahoma.
People of all faith traditions know that our nation is in a time of chaos and confusion. Use social media to share this amazing opportunity to affect lives and families right here in Oklahoma. Everything given undesignated to Wilmont Place Baptist Church will be forwarded to the state missions offering in our 10-50% plan.
