Mid-Week Survey Results

We rolled out a survey to our congregation as we consider meeting again during our mid-week events. Some survey results are identified below. Please continue to pray as our staff considers your input and prays through a mid-week event plan.

• 42 people responded.

• 30 of the 42 think we should start mid-week events in October.

 

• 9 (21%) requested a meal but only 5 offered to cook. Some are willing to pay more for the meal, usually $5-$6, and might be willing to pay $6-$8 if the meal was catered. Most, however, will be eating at home. Ten (24%) would like to brown bag their meal and eat at church.
  

 

• Most are comfortable with lecture-style teaching in the adult time but the number of results indicate a great diversity of interests.
  

 

• There is a significant interest in re-starting children and youth ministries on Wednesday nights.
  

Our staff would like to thank each of you that completed the survey. We hope to make some announcements in the next couple of weeks about a strategy for Wednesday night mid-week events.
