What It Is

Save This City is an evangelistic campaign that encourages churches to deploy members in community partnerships for the purpose of starting gospel conversations. The Captial Baptist Association has a goal to record 2500 gospel conversations from our associated churches in a six-month period in 2022 from February through July. As Southern Baptists, we affirm that the gospel is the most necessary work that is able to heal the brokenness and darkness of our city.

Community Partners

Community partners are local ministries where regular church members can volunteer and who present opportunities for frequent gospel conversations. We love our community partners and encourage every member to engage in meaning gospel conversations through one of these avenues.

500 through a 50-10 plan

We have a goal of recording 500 gospel conversations over six months in 2022 from February through July. We believe this low-water mark is easily obtainable if 50 church members can share the gospel 10 times over six months.
