Our Mission & Logo:
4 Ingredients of a Healthy Church
Wilmont believes a New Testament church is a body of believers on mission. That mission is defined by the Bible and contains 4 ingredients that contribute toward church health: preaching, teaching, growing, and reaching. Around the logo you will notice small icons that represent these 4 ingredients. They represent our philosophy of church. Read below to better understand this philosophy, or connect with The Journey to find out how we live out this philosophy as a church.

God chose preaching to save the broken and to strengthen the church. We practice text-driven expository preaching, which means that we walk through a part of Scripture so that you can see that truth comes from the Bible, not our creativity. Join us for Worship @ 10:45 am on Sunday. You can drop the kids off in children's church all but the fourth Sunday of the month! Plan a visit.

One thing we've learned in culture is that mis-information leads to poor decisions. Rich biblical teaching, not religious hype, is necessary for people to make good spiritual decisions. Our Sunday School classes for all ages is your opportunity to experience the rich information in the Bible. All Sunday School groups use Lifeway's curriculum. Join us @ 9:30 am on Sunday to discover relationship. Find a class.

Attendance alone will not produce the kind of life change necessary to grow in Christ. So in every event we encourage reflection and decisions that foster change in our lives. Many in our church choose to invest in D-Groups, small teams of 3-4 people learning to study Scripture and grow together. Find out more about how D-Groups work at Wilmont.

The natural product of a growing spiritual life is a desire to bring others into this same relationship with Jesus. We call this reaching - sharing the gospel with others and inviting them to trust Christ as Savior and Lord. Wilmont hosts Walk the Talk at least twice each year. This is more than a church outreach program. Walk the Talk teaches church members how to share the gospel in such a way in which (1) they can teach others to share the gospel and (2) they are prepared to reach others they meet in their daily life that need Christ.

This is more than a slogan. This tag line helps keep us focused on how we view people inside and outside our church. Regardless of age, political affiliation, race, or gender, you have been made in the image of God, your creator, who has a plan for your life. This plan starts with a personal reconciliation with God through Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. Contact any minister in our church to learn more about how you can begin The Journey with us.
